Home of one of New Zealand's one of the most iconic fried chickens! With multiple mentions in the 'Top Fried Chicken' lists in Auckland, we have been serving made-to-order, Taiwanese fried chicken to Auckland for years!
Our History
Kai Eatery started in Auckland in 2016 as a night market stall. Because there was a minimal existence of restaurants from Taiwan in New Zealand, we decided to build an eatery that showcases Taiwanese cuisine.
It all began with the XL Fried Chicken. The chicken breast is marinated on the inside and generously coated on the outside, before perfectly fried.
Due to the markets being in different locations every day, we eventually settled in 1 Rutland St, Auckland CBD. Now Kai Eatery is open for 8 or more hours a day to serve the best Fried Chicken and more iconic Taiwanese food and drinks!
Who we are looking for
We are looking for awesome individuals or partners that are passionate about hospitality. Willing to learn attitude and most of all, we want to partner with people with similar mindset, values and goals! In addition, a love for fried chicken is definitely a bonus!
