OUR STORY
When Allen and his wife visited Taiwan as children, they instantly fell in love with Taiwanese street food and wanted to share their experience with New Zealanders. Allen established the Kai night market stall, an Asia eatery, and the stall quickly became famous for its delicious XL Fried Chicken and Crispy Kumara Fries.
From modest beginnings in 2016, the Kai Eatery has grown into a successful franchise with many eateries and one in Ellerslie Store located close to the Chinese Embassy.
Need parking? We have parking available at Wilson car park at the back and free street parking. Known as one of the warm and cozy restaurants, our store has indoor seating for 18 customers and is also accessible by ramps. We pride ourselves in excellent customer service, serving only the most delicious good fried chicken near me.
